These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the letwrites.com website and any paid or managed services we provide ("Services"), offered by LETWISH NETWORK (Reg. No. 202503055588, KT0586571-K) ("Letwrites", "we", "us"). By using the Services you agree to these Terms.

    The software is open source — and these Terms don't govern it.
    The Letwrites software (Community edition) is licensed separately under the Apache License 2.0. Your right to use, self-host, and modify that software is governed by that license, not by these Terms. These Terms cover this website and our optional paid/managed Services (e.g., SSO, the governance dashboard, hosted plans).
  

1. Eligibility & accounts

You must be able to form a binding contract and, if acting for an organization, be authorized to bind it. Keep your account credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account.

2. Subscriptions, billing & refunds

Paid plans are billed in advance on the cycle shown at purchase (e.g., per active user, annually). Fees are stated at checkout.
Unless required by law or stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable.
We may change pricing with prior notice effective at your next renewal.
You can cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current term.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to: break the law; infringe others' rights; attempt to gain unauthorized access; disrupt or probe our Services except as permitted by our security policy; or misuse paid features (e.g., circumventing license limits). Abuse of the website or hosted Services may result in suspension.

4. Intellectual property

The Letwrites name, logo, and the content of this website are our property and may not be used in a way that implies endorsement. The open-source software is owned by its contributors and licensed under Apache-2.0. Paid/enterprise components are proprietary and licensed, not sold, under the applicable subscription terms.

5. Third-party components

Self-hosting Letwrites involves third-party software (e.g., BookStack, Caddy, MariaDB, Docker images), each under its own license and terms. You are responsible for complying with those and for operating your own deployment.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

THE WEBSITE, SERVICES, AND SOFTWARE ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. You are responsible for how you configure, secure, and operate any self-hosted deployment, including access controls and the security of your data.

7. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LETWRITES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL. Our total liability for the Services is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Services or your deployment, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or to comply with law. Your right to the open-source software under Apache-2.0 continues independently of these Terms.

10. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Perak, Malaysia.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms; we'll revise the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, provide notice. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
